Sullana cigarettes are produced by Heimat Manufaktur AG in Steinach on Lake Constance. Production of the Heimat and Sullana brands today lies entirely with Heimat Manufaktur AG.
Two brands, one site
Alongside its own Heimat products, the manufactory in Steinach also makes the Sullana cigarettes. Both brands are therefore created in the same place, with the same people, the same machines and the same quality controls.
For Sullana this means a long-established Swiss brand stays in Swiss production. For the manufactory it means better use of the equipment - and with it the economic basis for producing small batches of natural Swiss tobacco at all.
What this means for the products
Heimat and Sullana remain independent brands with their own recipes and character. Heimat Original stands for 100 % Swiss tobacco; Sullana stands in the tradition of the oriental blend. What they share is the production site in Steinach, canton of St. Gallen.
